Summer Sales Slowdown Solution....

Last week I gave you my 10 steps to Internet Riches.
This week I want to talk to you about slowing summer sales.
It happens every summer. The sun comes out, the weather gets warm, and people shut off their computers
and go to the beach or to the park....
...and our online sales drop through the floor!!!
It's happened every single year that I've been online since 1996 and there's a good chance that
it's happening to you as we speak!
There IS a solution to the dreaded summer sales slowdown, and I'll tell you what it is.
Hold a special summer sale
One way to beat the summer slowdown is to have a sale. If you read my ezine, then you probably
collect the email addresses of people that visit your site or have your own ezine.
Create a special offer for everyone on your list and then mail it out to that list and your past customers
list.
For instance, I'm going to do that exact thing later on in the week. You should get my special
sale offer on Wednesday (so look out for it, you'll love it!).
Even if you aren't interested in what I'm trying to sell you, read the email anyway. See how
I crafted the message and try to think of a way that you could rip off my email and use
it for your own special summer sale. (I don't mind!)
I send out the same special offer each year and it's our second highest pulling sales letter.
So read it and see if you can emulate it in your business. And while you're at it, buy whatever
it is that I'm selling ;-)
Sit down today and put together your own special summer sale. It can be a buy one get one
free sort of thing, or a drastic discount, or a special free gift with purchase. Then wait till
Wednesday to get my email sales letter. Read the letter and try to write a similar letter
for your own business.
Then send that email to your list and record the sales! Keep the letter on file and use it
again next year when your sales drop for the summer.
