Promote Your Product With Free Press Exposure...
By: John Skorczewski
Hello,
I missed last week's issue...AGAIN...I'm really sorry about that...hopefully things will quiet down around here
and we can get back to the weekly schedule again. I hope your summer has been quieter than mine!
In Last Week's Issue I talked to you
about something that could be causing you to lose serious sales... This week I want to talk to you about the
power of free Press exposure.
Nothing can give you a nicer bump in sales then getting your company or product mentioned on the news, in a paper,
or in a magazine. It's like free promotion sent straight down from heaven.
I'm not going to go into the nitty gritty of how to get free press in this article, it'd take a whole book to explain
and PR isn't my specialty. Instead I recommend you head down to your local bookstore. You'll find several
good books to get you started there...buy a cup of coffee and browse through the books (you might even buy one
of them if you find a really good one).
Today I just want to share with you a great little free resource that will help you immensely to get free press.
It's a web site called PRWeb.com
That web offers a free service that will blast your Press Release out to hundreds, if not thousands, of press outlets
(from newspapers, to new tv shows, to magazines, etc).
They also offer a wealth of free info on how to craft a press release, what kind of things are newsworthy, how
to get the attention of news media professionals, etc.
If you take my advice, you'll spend several hours reading through their web site. Then whenever you want
to send a free press release, you can do it easily from there.
That's all for this week. See you next Monday!
