You're reading this, I assume, because you either have an
Internet business and you want to make more money at it, or
you want to start an Internet business.
How can I help you the most?
Most people (myself included) try to teach theory.
The problem is, a lot of people don't respond well to theory,
they need solid examples to follow.
So I've decided to spend the next several issues teaching
a little differently than I usually do.
I'm going to start a new Internet business, and let you watch
me step by step to see exactly what I do.
I'll let you watch as I pick the product, build the web site,
promote the web site, take orders, follow up on new customers,
everything that needs to be done to build a successful Internet
business (well I HOPE it will be a successful Internet business!).
I'll show you how much money I spend to get this thing off the
ground, I'll show you where I spend money on advertising and how
much I spend and what kind of ads I'll run.
I'll show you exactly how many orders I get and how much money
I make.
Forget about theory, I'm going to show you how to build a
Successful Internet business from the ground up step by step.
You can watch, you can email me with questions, you can even
participate in the affiliate program that will go along with
my new business and earn yourself a little cash along the way.
I think it'll be a lot of fun for all of us and I hope you
learn a lot from it.
The first thing we need to do is pick a product. Now we can
either pick someone else's product and sign up as an affiliate
for them, or we can build our own product.
I choose to build my own product. That way I get to keep all
the profits myself, and I have complete control over everything.
What kind of product should I create? It should be a digital
product I think. Some software or an eBook that people can
download. That way we don't have to worry about stocking
inventory or order fulfillment.
The time frame I've given myself to come up with a product is
one week (since I'd like for it to be ready to go by next weeks
issue!).
That pretty well rules out software, it'd take more than a week
to create any software product.
So that leaves a service of some sort, or an eBook. I don't want
to bother with performing a service for each new customer I get,
so let's go with eBook.
I'll spend the rest of the week writing and creating the eBook
and in next week's issue you can take a look at what I come up
with and we can start building the web site.
