This week I want to give you 10 simple action steps that you can take right away to help boost your sales online. This is almost like a simple business plan that's proven to work time and time again online. Here it is....


  1. Create one long copy sales web page per product.
    Focus on selling one product per page. Create a web page that is nothing more than a long sales letter that convinces the reader to buy your product.

  2. Submit That Sales Letter Page to the Major Search Engines...

  3. Collect the email addresses of your site visitors
    ...by offering them a free weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly ezine that relates to the product you are selling. Then send out your ezine to everyone who subscribes.

  4. Determine your target market.
    Exactly who would be interested in your product? Are their ezines devoted to those people? If so track them down and make a list of them, who their editors are, their contact email, and their ad rates.


  5. Contact editors from ezines that relate
    ....to your target market. Setup an ad budget of X dollars and spread it through several of those ezines. Always negotiate the ad price down. Start by offering them 50% of what they are asking.

    ... to your target market and pitch them on Joint Venture offers where they recommend your product to their subscribers and you share the profit.

  7. Write articles that relate to your product
    Then contact editors from ezines that relate to your target market and offer to allow the editor to run your article royalty free...or offer to write an ongoing article for them. At the end of each article place a resource box with your contact info and a short plug of your product.


  8. Create a "Pay Per Click" search engine campaign
    ...at Overture.com and Google AdWords. Use any profit from step 1-7 to kick off your campaign. Always reinvest X% of all profit back into your PPC advertising campaing.


  9. Create an email autoresponder follow-up system
    ...that automatically emails your customers every 3-4 weeks offering them something free and pitching them on another of your products.

  10. Allocate 10% to 15% of your profit
    ...from each sale to pay for printing, envelopes and postage for a direct marketing mail campaign. For instance, if Bob buys a widget from you for $50, set aside $5 to $8 (10-15%) in a BOB FUND. Then use that money to print up offers that you can send Bob in the mail every 3-4 weeks selling your other products that he may be interested in. Most people in Internet Businesses don't take advantage of this offline marketing tool and thus, miss out on a lot of profit from their existing satisfied customers.


And that's it! A simple 10 step action plan that you can use immediately to make money online.

Hi,


Last week I didn't write an article because of the Memorial Day Holiday here in the U.S. Sorry to leave you high and dry like that!


This week I want to talk about something that many people might not be aware of.


I'm sure you know by now how important it is to get your site onto Google. It's not the most important thing in the world (there are other important search engines too) but it's nearly the most important thing in the world :-)


What most people don't know, is that Google puts a lot of stock in something called the DMOZ open directory project.


What is DMOZ? It's a directory of web sites...but it is maintained, not by computers and "robots" like most search engines...but by actual humans.


What does that mean? Well if you want to get listed in Google, you submit your site and Google sends their automated robot to your site, scans it, determines how to categorize your site, and then adds your site to it's database.


DMOZ, on the other hand, sends an actual person to your site, who determines themselves if your site is worth listing in their directory.


That's why Google and other search engines puts so much stock in DMOZ.


Getting your site listed in DMOZ increases your chances of getting ranked well in Google, because Google continually scans the DMOZ directory.


And not just Google, other search engines as well use DMOZ for some of their directory listings.


So it's very important to get your site listed at Dmoz.org. It's not as easy as getting your site listed in other search engines, and there is no automated form to fill out to submit your site.


So how to get listed? I recommend using our Submission-Spider Search Engine Submission Software.


The Submission-Spider will open up a web browser straight to DMOZ.org, you then select the category that best relates to your site...then narrow it down inside that category by choosing a sub category...then filling out a short form and clicking the button.
